I'm Maureen

- Knitting instructor

- Trained in meditation and Reiki up to the Master level

- Registered Dental Hygienist for over 25 years

Why did I choose to call my space Heart-Strings??

Definition: Heart-Strings: Plural noun

Used in reference to one's deepest feelings of love and compassion.

Having been born on Valentines Day and sharing the same birthday with my son, I can't help but connect to the heart and the love that radiates from there. I've always been a sensitive, loving soul struggling to find my way in the world. Struggling to find like minded people. So I have decided to create that sacred space for myself and invite others to join me.

For many years I have turned to Yoga, meditation and knitting to soothe my soul, and now I want to share it with the world. Many of us are feeling out of sorts with the way of the world and post pandemic anxieties. My purpose is to provide a safe space to nourish the heart and soul through Yoga meditation and knitting .

Choose to live a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness is more than being free from illness: it is a process of change and growth towards a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle.

Live With Passion & Purpose

To achieve optimal wellness we must try and live our best life. A few ways to achieve this might be learning to slow down and embrace your senses by experiencing them and processing them through yoga meditation or knitting. I invite you to change your mindset and try something new and refreshing. Open your heart, love yourself and refrain from comparing yourself to others. Lastly, leave judgment behind and let yourself be, let others be.
